Rescue Row
There are many ways to welcome a purebred dog into your family. While some prefer a puppy, many people want to adopt a great dog in need of a home. The Michigan Winter Dog Classic features "Rescue Row," an area of the show featuring rescue groups from all over Michigan representing many breeds. Yes, there are purebred dogs available for rescue!
Rescue Row is a great place to come and meet reputable dog rescue organizations looking to place great dogs for a lifetime commitment. These groups are made up of reputable breeders, previous rescue families, and volunteers and are committed to placing purebred dogs in great homes. If there is not a group at the show that represents the breed you are interested in, find the breed club for your breed and call them to find out who in their club handles breed rescue..
Our Mission
To rescue as many without a voice as we can with the help of our dedicated volunteers and loving foster homes.
What We Do
We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes following a comprehensive adoption process. Dogs in our care are spayed/neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and are placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed, or ease of placement. Rescue Row stands ready to help you to find a companion who will thrive in your home. We are here to assist you in every way possible throughout the adoption process and will continue to be a helpful resource after you have welcomed your new pets into your life.
